Pain from the bone implant area
Hello doctor, My grandmother had fractured thigh bone implant surgery on 22nd april. Recently, a week ago she developed a severe fever and after diagnosing it, it was found that she had much infection in her blood. She was admitted in hospital and given "pizofast" antibiotics and other medicines during her hospital stay. After discharge, she is good but she has pain inside the stitch wound near the implant area and the pain mostly happens with movements. Currently, she is taking "Cefakind 500" as antibiotics, vitamin supplements such Shelcal-xt, iron multivitamin capsule and CTD-6.25(may be for swelling in her leg). Could you please advise some further tests if required or anything she should take ? Thank you.

Post operative infection after implant surgery  is a serious problem. Kindly visit the surgeon who operated on your grandmother. She may have to be readmited.
