Hi Pain in right upper region of abdomen may be of various causes. the most common ones are duodenal ulcer and gall stones. I need a detailed history and physical examination further to say. Heart burn and GERD may be because of beta blocker (Prolomet Xl) side effect too, as it relaxes lower esophageal sphincter. Once we get a detailed history and examination, few blood tests and USG abdomen are required
Next Steps
Ultrasound abdomen/ UGI endoscopy
