It is perhaps something called as coccydynia.. inflammation of the tip of the tail bone. It happens due to sitting for a prolonged time in wrong posture.

Following things shall help
1. sit straight on the chair
2. avoid sitting for long duration..get up after every half and hour and take a quick walk and come back
3. apply hot or cold pack ( preferred)
4. if it persists u should start using a tube (float tube which has a central hole used for kidds swimming).. also special cushions are also available
5. avoid sitting on hard surface
6. if it persists visit a physiotherapist for ultrasound therapy and exercises
