Pain and heveness in breast

Asked for Male, 32 Years

My mother have breast cancer(right side and has been removed 1.5 years ago)she is on letrozole 2.5 mg daily. Now she has some pain and heveness of other breast when she touches. She undergone mammography and ultrasound and reports are normal. So what is the reason of that pain and heveness is it side effect of medicine???or her misconception.

Hi Iam Thejeswar. Iam Medical and Hematooncologist. Letrozole rarely can cause mild pain in breast. Happy that mammogram and ultrasound was normal. Sometimes heaviness in the retrosternal area and on left side can be due to cardiac causes also. Evaluate for other causes also if persisting.
