Pain after vaccination DPT
We have done dpt vaccination of my 2 year old daughter but after four hour she has very high fever and she is not able to move her leg. We have given her calpol and later ibugesic but still she is crying a lot .Please advise .

when fever and vaccine pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
