Pain after Hexaxim Vaccine
Hello Docs, Have given my child hexaxim after 6 weeks as part of routine vaccination. The area where needle was pricked is little red and child is feeling pain on that part. what can we do to sooth the baby? Can ice cubes be applied for some time? Pls suggest options and how lon generally pain remains?

U can use paracetamol drops. U can apply ice

Dear parents, Every prick is painful, do cold formentation by dipping a towel in water and place over injection site. Give crocin drops 0.4mlevery6hrlyfor next 24hrs. If pain persist after 24hrs consult the paedtrician
