Oxygen level
My cousin is suffering from COVID. His oxygen level was 89 but after some exercise his level increase from 89 to 98. Do we still need to hospitalise or we can wait

Generally spo2 is not that much variable. Exercise may increase or decrease spo2 depending on the condition. It is my suggestion to have a close watch and use the right position and right finger. Best is right hand middle finger. If hand is sweating it may give a false reading

If his saturation is maintaing stable at 98% no need of hospitalisation...otherwise u hav to hospitlise..

If it is fluctuating then u should admit him.  check his spo2 after 10 mins n if it's still 89 then admit immediately.
