Yesterday in the middle of the day my left knee started hurting on the left side, it hurt to run, walk, go upstairs. It might be linked to basketball that started last week

Hi. Yes it might be due to the sports activity which you started and there might be some unnoticed injury. Please try to rest your knee for couple of weeks don't play and take appropriate medication. If still pain persists then we will investigate further. I think this should resolve with rest.
