OSMF with ulcer
Doctor, my MIL is having OSMF, she can only put 1.5 fingers inside mouth. Taking SM fibro, applying dolo gel and recidin from last 7 months. Sometimes it bleeds during brushing, there is a burning sensation. Also she is having an ulcer from more than 20 days, Is it concernable? Attached is a picture.

Ulcer needs to be evaluated by clinical examination and biopsy if clinically indicated.Tobacco and areca nut chewing which has caused the submucosal fibrosis is also a risk factor for oral cancer.
