I was diagnosed with OSMF in January 2018. I was a chronic consumer of Pan Masala for 2 years. Since diagnosis i have been away from habits yet I see some white spots at the buccal mucosa and roof of the mouth with burning sensation. I have a mouth opening of 60mm yet I am having RECURRENT LESION NEAR THE BUCCAL MUCOSA (JAW AREA) which heals but comes back again at the SAME SPOT . I feel irritation in my mouth. I'm worried as to what it can be related to and when and if it going to turn malignant

Corticosteroids along with hyaluronidase, topical and systemic or intralesional injection has to be done based on severity of condition. You can consult through this for prescription of medication and instructions on investigations such as biopsy to know the current status of condition.

Hello sir.
Firstly it's a good sign that you have stopped the habit of years. secondly OSMF needs long term follow up.
So wherever you are getting the treatment done in the past. Try to maintain the follow up..
Sometimes the procedure and the medicine needs to be repeated.
As after years of irritation with pan masala , the oral mucosa is majorly affected by OSMF What you need to do is go for checkups and may be biopsy based on the current situation. Hope this helped.
