Recently I observed that I am unable to eat big panic puri , post study I found that my mouth opening is 30MM or 2 fingers  , so I went to ENT specialist he mention that I have OSMF & prescribed trinergic L twice for 3 months & quit habbit of Areca Nut .I quit the same & it has been 3 months now , last month I visit oral surgeon specialist he prescribed me SM Fibro twice for 2monts & turbocort to apply on mouth . It's being 27 days I started mouth opening excerise - my mouth currently opening 37-38MM or initials of 3 fingers with active mouth opening excersie with ice cream sticks , use turmeric as well om affected areas - I don't have repacted ulcers, uluva is normal, no burning sensation as such until very spicy food as I tend to eat normal masala , Oral surgeon is saying it's Moderate stage wherein Ent specialist is saying cessation of habbit is sufficient, pls advice- I quite tabbaco any form almost  3 months, pls help with solution - I am confused & worried .

both opinion are good enough, it's your call further, stopage of habit will help you for lifetime as desease won't progress, and getting treatment for reopening will help you maintain your oral health, so accept both.

There is no need to worry. Its appreciable that you have quit your habit. Also there is significant increase in your mouth opening. I would suggest you to kindly follow your maxillofacial surgeon and continue with your treatment. Hope it helps

In this case, please follow up with the oral surgeon as they specialize in the mouth area. An ENT is a specialist for the ear, nose and throat. The changes to your ora mucosa will take more time to get back to complete normalcy. The key here is to never start the habit again. As you have mentioned the progress, there's nothing to worry about. But regular follow ups with your dentist are a must. Dont worry, you're doing well.
