Even though the ceasetion of the habit is the most important step in the treatment of the condition called OSMF it should be supplemented with Antioxidant therapy,Intra lesional therapy, mouth opening exercises and last but not the least regular follow up of the condition with biopsy to rule out and aplastic changes in the Oral mucosa every six months and make sure you don't consume tobacco, alcohol and even Areca catetchu ( beetlenut ) in any manner and decrease spices intake and take more of fruits and fresh veggies. Wish U a speedy recovery.Stay healthy stay happy.
