I have ceramic braces, and am going through treatment since an year from another city.
A wire has been hurting my gum and I want to get it fixed.
So,is it possible that the orthodontist here can treat it??

Orthodontists provide their patients some bits of clear wax so that when a wire/bracket starts hurting a gum tissue you can put the wax over the wire so that it doesn't irritate the gum.you can go to your nearby orthodontist and show him/her your problem
Hi,Yes of course you can visit another dentist to cut off the wire hurting your gums but please ask the dentist to speak to your Orthodontist before doing it .either he will cut the wire or put a small piece of wax on the part of wire hurting your gums.
