Hello It is fine to give her formula milk of good brand while travelling. Continue to breastfeed her. Now that she is one year old give her porridge, sooji kheer, custard, curds. Try boiling cow milk with some Fennel seeds and strain it. That will add natural flavor and is easy to digest. Thanks

Hi. I hope your daughter was exclusively breast fed for 6months to 1 year. Yes, it will be definitely a bit challenging to wean off with cow's milk. It's better you just add natural flavors like banana/sapota/jaggery/dates powder to it instead of using milk mixes. The ready made mixes might have many ingredients that are really not necessary. Until atleast 4 years of age it is good to go with home made food preparations.

Hi, Cow milk direct or packaged is not actually required by kids of 1 year age, as they may not form the proper enzyme to digest it. Kids to give cues like aversion, and crying, rejection to food as they cannot express verbally...but we make the cardinal mistake of ignoring it and force feed. MILK is an important diet from time immemorial but if it cannot be given to kids all hell will not break loose... CURD / CHHENA a milk product, with equally rich nutrient density( except lactose or milk sugar) may be given to the kid in different ways for the milk protein. You may continue breast feeding though if convenient For travel, I would suggest you to resort to formula milk from a good brand but only while travelling....Do not force feed anything to kids.
