Orange red streaks in poop

Asked for Female, 27 Years

My 7 month old son has been having loose motions since a few days I gave him apple sauce, curd rice and darolac powder for two days it was back to normal. Today he's having blowouts and can see orange red streaks in his poop. He's breastfed.

Undigested food particles are very common at this age. If you give coloured foods, then poop will also be coloured. No need to worry usually. Treatment is needed only for watery motions more than thrice a day. You can test stool by stool routine to look for blood if you have a doubt. Meet a pediatrician
