Sir, I am suffering from OSMF 2nd stage. (less mouth opening). I am taking a treatment since 6 days.. But due to my bad habits of excessive chewing of tobacco and pan masala I started to chewing saffron and chewing gums. I started to feel pain inside my mouth. I am totally satisfied by my treatment but I wanna ask you that should I stop chewing these things for proper mouth opening or I can continue chewing saffron and chewing gums to control my addiction..

You can continue chewing gums to get over your addictions if it is helping. But you need to consult a dentist at the earliest for treatment of your OSFM

Saffron or chewing gums will not worsen the condition of your oral cavity ,, so if they are helping you overcome the addiction,, you can continue chewing that,, no harms,, but make sure you do not indulge in tobacco chewing at all again,, bcoz stage 2 OSMF at your age is an alarming condition.
Hello,
To reverse this condition u will have to go to a dentist. Multivitamins especially Vit A is given for such condition. For severe condition injections are given.
Next Steps
U can go ahead with eating chewing gums..but the condition cannot be reversed without proper check up and examination and medications.
Chewing gum is fine if it helps you to avoid chewing paan.
You have not mentioned enough details for me to give you any other advise.
You can also ask your current doctor about any questions you have.
I would need more details for more specific advise. Which will only be possible on a personal consult.
Next Steps
avoid the causative effect.
get your teeth cleaned by your dentist ( scaling and polishing)
