Hello. Hope you are doing well. Your concerns and history seem to be suggestive of OSMF (Oral Submucous Fibrosis). But the complaint of feeling pain while pressing below the cheek area can be due to enlarged lymph node caused by any infection in face and oral cavity region. It will be better for you to visit an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon (as they specialise in this area). A thorough physical examination needs to be done along with proper history taking. If the diagnosis is OSMF then different treatment modalities are available according to the degree of severity.
Next Steps
Visit an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon as early as possible.
Health Tips
If any habit of tobacco, supari (betel nut) or paan chewing habits are there then stop immediately. Do not have any hot or spicy food. Brush twice daily thoroughly. Do be aware of any growths over the cheek area. If present, consult Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon as soon as possible.
