Hi .. according to the diagnosis as lichen planus... burning ulcers indicate erosive type lichen planus. There is no assurance given for its treatment in literature. I can definitely help you to keep your symptoms under control with  medication. You can visit my clinic in Pune for consultation.About biopsy....if you are thinking about it... then it can help you to relax...once you see normal reports. So you can go for biopsy.

You can find me on Practo or Google.

Hi,oral lichen planus is a precancerous condition, its transformation rate to cancer is ,so if you are anxious about it you may consult an experienced oral and maxillofacial surgeon and get a biopsy done,,although let me tell you that there is nothing to worry as of now if the dentist has already seen it clinically, but a biopsy can be done for your satisfaction as histopathological diagnosis is the ultimate diagnosis.
