This is a very technical situation. The advice can be given only by a Plastic Surgeon who has extensive experience of skin graft. We don't know why the skin from head became so thin (there could be some skin pathology).
Next Steps
Please consult a Plastic Surgeon who has lot of experience in skin graft. Appropriate advice can not be given by a General Physician, General Surgeon, or a Dermatologist.
