My Mother will be in washroom for 10-12 hour washing herself continuously, dont eat regularly, she has her own description of cleanliness & rituals. rarely rakes bath.

She is having OCD. Needs help. Pls take a psychiatric consultation. She would improve on treatment. .

Your mother is definitely suffering from ocd. It is an illness and people who suffer thy illness might not know that it is an illness. With good amount of counseling and medication she can get better. Try taking help it will help her

Yes it is OCD only. Please visit  psychologist along with some psychiatric treatment.  It's definitely  curable.

Hi, this seems like Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, however it will need detailed evaluation by a Psychiatrist. Please do not delay, get her treated. It is a treatable condition and she can become much better with the right medication and counseling. All the best!
