My wife is suffering from OCD. We are planning to take her to NIMHANS Bangalore. Therefore I would like to know how many days will it take for the treatment. We have taken leave for 10 days. we heard that in NIMHANS it takes time . Is it true?. Please suggest any other equivalent places in bengaluru where procedure is fast such as apollo, manipal etc.

OCD is not going to resolve in 10 days. Its a long treatment and you can seek treatment from nearby psychiatric clinic. She might need combination of medication and behavior therapy. In NIMHANS they have special OCD clinics and you can take appointment online to avoid wait period. First evaluation usually takes time as everything is asked in detail.
