OCD Medication discontinuation

Asked for Male, 24 Years

Namaskar sir...Sir I want to know if I discontinue OCD medication after 4 years of successful treatment by gradually lowering the dose, is there any chance of relapse of OCD in future? Please help me sir.

There is always a chance of relapse, to decrease chances of relapse CBT is given along with medications. Discontinue treatment under care of a psychiatrist, preferably very slowly in 3-6 months.
