OCD, depression and anxiety
I am 64 years old female. For last one year I was suffering from OCD , depression and anxiety. I was under treatment of a psychiatrist. Now according to my doctor I am alright and stopped medicine. So for last ten days I am not taking any medicine. Now my fear is that will it be relapse and I am unable to forget that I was suffering from this type of disease. Now my question is that what should I do so that I can live a perfect life for the rest period. I have another query whether I can do cognitive behavioural therapy by myself? Because of many causes I can't go to the professional therapist . Help me. Thank you.

U can do it by yourself when you do it in supervision and guidance of a psychologist first.. Try therapy to be maintained off medicine too I believe you should discuss your concerns in detail with a mental health professional to gain an insight about nature of problem and ways to overcome it through psychotheraputic techniques Consult with me or any psychologist for therapy and counseling Connect with me through practo Follow my Facebook page "juhi parashar -psychotherapist " for mental health issues All the best Seek help for early recovery

Hi, You don't need to be scared whether relapse will happen. Just stay positive and you can try few simple relaxation techniques. Doing CBT by yourself can be slightly difficult but if you have the confidence you can try it. But I guess it will be better to consult someone online or in person if possible.I also consult online.
Next Steps
Relaxation techniques, engage yourself in some hobby, don't sit idle, stay positive.
