Hi , last week I had bloody diarhea . I checked with my doctor who mentioned I have piles. He told me to do 2 stool tests...reports attached... while my diarhea is gone and stools are normal , there is occult blood found in my stool.
Wanted to understand the following
1) 3rd March result says occult blood Present
2) 4th March stool result says occult blood trace.
What's the difference ?
Plus have been put on o2 oxflacin + providac + dompran for a week
Pls advice on difference on 2 days stool test

Occult blood means there is blood in more quantity which can be seen through naked eyes and traces means only few drops of blood which can only be seen microscopically.
