Obsessed with ECG test
I have become obsessed with getting ECG done every week. It all started a year back when I started getting random chest pains and upper body pains. Cardio did ecg/echo/tmt n all was fine. But i was not convinced n started getting ECGs frequently. From twice a month to every week. Getting a normal ECG gives me immense peace of mind. When I go on a trip then I get an ECG done always. My mind will keep on worrying about it unless the ECG is done. How should I get over this obsession of mine? Is it a good idea to get an ECG done every week ?

Being totally aware of your health is not something wrong which you do but to have a compulsion of doing the same every week can itself signify a problem with your behavioural management. It would be better to have a discussion about this and proceed forward than to advice over here without a proper history
