OAE fail couple of times,but BERA passed
Hi all, you could have noticed my previous queries . My son's( currently 61 days old) OAE test failed twice ,one at 23 days and the other one at 56 days . We have been asked to take BERA ,i took BERA today and the audiologist told that everything is normal. PFA reports. Can you also check and let me know if all is good. It's still like a miracle for me ,not sure OAE alone failed though ent confirmed that there is no debris or fluid inside the years before taking oae. Wat could be the reason.

Sometimes the pressure threshold may not be maintained WHICH IS IMPORTANT FOR OAE.. so don't worry.. since BERA IS NORMAL.. we could wait. Repeat OAE just for your satisfaction after 2 months
