Not passing stool properly

Hi, constipation  is common in kids.Mostly it is food related  and habitual . Pls encourage her to take diet rich in fibre along with enough water, like around 1ltr . Pls encourage her to pass stool regularly and appreciate her for passing stool . Another thing toilets shud b clean so that they dont feel irritated.

Thank you for your query Your daughter is 3 years old. Her weight is normal for her age. So you need not worry She’s having habitual constipation which is very common at her age My suggestions 1. Reduce or stop cow’s milk 2. Increase fruits and vegetables — you can give fresh fruit juices or vegetable soups 3. Avoid biscuits, bread and maida foods If the above measures do not work consult your Pediatrician
