Dont worry, meet once gynaecologist, she will do some for test for you and husband. If everything normal then try on fertile periods. There r certain tests needed before you plan also.

what are the days you have intercourse . give details on your period days as in how many do u get period every month 30 or 28.. den i can guide for timely intercourse to get the desired result
You have been married for one and half years, but since when have you been trying to conceive?? Since you are 31 and if you have already been trying for more than 6 months, it's time for you to see a fertility specialist. The most important tests for you would be an ultrasound to be done on 2/3rd day of your cycle, AMH levels and husband's semen analysis. Do not delay your visit to a fertility specialist in any case. All the best and may the stork visit you soon!!
