What kind of fever were you diagnosed with and what you given any long-term medications for that???? Somfy fevers as well as some medications can cause reversible changes on the tongue and alter the taste sensation. Use your toothbrush to clean your tongue after every time you brush your teeth and avoid metallic or plastic or wooden tongue cleaners because they can cause more harm than good. Maintain a good level of hydration and have some patience, it will all be fine soon. Regards.
