Not able to open jaw completely
My mother is unable to open her jaws completely. She can only open her mouth about 80%. If she forcibly tries to open the mouth she feels some pain in back side of jaws(i guess at the joint). What is the problem? Which doctor should we see a dentist or an orthopedist?

She is suffering from inability to open the jaw and it is related to dentistry. Preferably you must consult an Oral Medicine expert advice who is a specialist in Mouth, jaw diseases and cancer. We at our center in chennai treat such patients. You may Practo consult also
