Nkn- diabetic HBA1C
My father is 80 years old and non -diabetic till now. He uses hypertension tablet daily and has no other health issues. In recent health check up his HBA1C came as 7.0 with average glucose reading of 154. Does this conclude that he is diabetic now and need to start medication?

You need to do fasting sugar and post lunch sugar report to decide about need of medicine. Hba1c normal should be less than 5.7% Upto 6.4 it's prediabetic 7 is offcourse diabetic Diet and exercise should be strictly followed. Do the reports fbs,pp and consult for further guidance
