Nipples Pain by Feeding 2 yo Daughter
Dear Sir/Mam,
I am 30 years old, a mother of two child. My younger one is 2 years old, she feds on my breast milk, 7-8 times a day. Due to her excessive sucktion, the nipples has started paining, please advise some ointment/med to reduce the skin irrititations and Pain.

That is due to crack nipples ,happens due to bad positioning and latching .

Your daughter is 2yrs.it is high time you stop
Breast feeding her.by now some teeth
Would have errupted and she would be
Biting the nipple while feeding.she should
Have been on solid and liquid diet by now.

Apply Ice over the sore nipple.
Also u can apply hindmilk/ last milk which comes at the end of feed on nipple.

This is not uncommon
Usually due to dryness of nipple due to prolonged suckling
Application of butter or ghee usually suffice
Moisturiser may be applied after feeding
