6 days ago my symptoms started with little sore throat, then after 2 days got blocked nose but very little sneezing, then little cough with yellow phlegm, feeling of cough is there but cough very less, now yesterday night i woke up with sweating on face head and neck twice at night. It was not whole body drenching night sweat but has happened thrice in one night after i wake up from sleep. I still have runny nose and cough with yellow phlegm. What could night sweat mean? TB or Pneumonia ? I had no fever during all this episode.

Hello Sir,
From the way your symptoms started (sore throat → blocked nose → cough with yellow phlegm → runny nose), this looks more like a viral or bacterial respiratory infection rather than something serious like TB or pneumonia, especially since you do not have fever, weight loss, or continuous severe cough.
Night sweats can sometimes occur during infections due to the body’s immune response, even without high fever. The sweating you had (face, head, neck only, not whole body drenching) is not the typical "night sweats" that we worry about in TB. Pneumonia usually presents with high fever, chest pain, and breathlessness, which you don’t mention.
For now:
Stay well hydrated and take warm fluids.
Steam inhalation may help with nasal blockage and cough.
Monitor your symptoms — if you develop persistent fever, chest pain, blood in sputum, or worsening shortness of breath, then consult a doctor immediately for chest X-ray and further evaluation.
I hope it helps you. For proper management and treatment, you can consult me.

From your description, your symptoms sound more like a viral or bacterial upper respiratory infection rather than TB or pneumonia, especially since there has been no persistent fever, weight loss, or severe breathlessness. Mild night sweats can occur during infections as your body fights it, and they do not always indicate TB.
Next Steps
Right now, continue rest, fluids, steam inhalation, and saline nasal washes. If you develop high fever, worsening cough, chest pain, breathing difficulty, or persistent night sweats for weeks, then further evaluation may be required.
Night sweats with cough need proper evaluation to rule out infections like TB or pneumonia. It can’t be confirmed online. Best to see a doctor for an exam and tests , I can help if you’d like to consult.
Based on your symptoms, this looks most like a viral or mild bacterial upper respiratory infection rather than TB or pneumonia, especially since you’ve had no fever, breathlessness, hemoptysis . The yellow phlegm suggests some infection
