Night cough
My daughter is 9 months 10 days old she had cold from last 3-4 days ,she dont have runny nose now but she is coughing very badly at night while sleeping she is not able to sleep , doctor says she is not conjested in chest and gave cough and cold medicine she won't cough during day and is very active but coughing constantly at night from yesterday please suggest

Most coughs and colds are caused by viruses and get better on their own within a week. Can start treatment accordingly clinical examination. Can give cough syrup, antibiotics according to requirement and do nebulization. Can give them warm apple juice, milk or decaffeinated tea with honey in it.

Hello ! Put small cloth or pillow below head elevate head end of bed sum wat . In propped up position . Give syp montair lc kid 2.5 mg - 1.5 ml at 7pm daily once for5- 7 days . Continue mucolite syp for cough
