Hi, My son is one month old, and his umbilical cord fell on 3rd  day after birth. Even after one month, I can see a pink lump inside his navel. Could you suggest ?

Hello This looks like Umbilical Granuloma-A common benign condition. Presents as a small, moist, pink to red nodule in the umbilicus. Occurs after cord separation.
Next Steps
Keep the area clean and dry. Common salt application (small pinch for 5 minutes twice daily for 2–3 days under supervision). Keep the diaper well below the umbilicus level Continue exclusive breast feeding till 6 months
Health Tips
Red flags: Increasing discharge Redness, swelling, or warmth around umbilicus Fever or baby being irritable Persistence beyond 2–3 weeks despite treatment

It is looking normal. You do not have to worry about it. I am guessing there is no discharge or pus coming out.

Check the area is kept clean and dry. Tie the diaper below the navel to avoid soiling. If no discharge is there - Putting salt twice a day helps the area to dry and close too. There are no nerve endings in the wet tissue so don’t worry. The salt will not irritate the baby
