Negative Thoughts and Worry
Hi, I am having excessive negative thoughts and worrying lately... Mostly after my childhood friend was diagnosed with cancer last December... I am trying to stop that negative voice in my head but it keeps coming back. Earlier I have had history of severe depression and anxiety. I am having bouts of anxiousness and crying frequently by getting worried about my health.

Hi dear, You need therapy sessions they will help you to ease your negative thoughts and lead a healthy and happy life. Sometimes, reoccurring negative thoughts have a bad impact on physical health. As you told your friend's cancer news triggered your negative thoughts. Whenever you feel anxious, just try one thing that is to make your spine straight using a wall in the back and cross your hands over your chest , close your eyes, and do deep breathing. It will ease out your anxiety. However, therapy sessions are needed to heal properly. Consult online for proper guidance.

Hi... It is very normal to feel this way for a brief period of time, but if such issues are persisting beyond 2 weeks, you need to seek professional help. Depression and anxiety can be addressed with a combination of medication and psychotherapy. This fear of your own health can be addressed with adequate lifestyle changes and counselling.

Anxiety and depression, both can be very difficult to process, as you said you had history of anxiety and depression in past. So, acc to my opinion you should consider a mental health professional such as therapist or counsellor who will help you to manage your negative thoughts, anxiety and depression.
