My father needs to undergo a hip replacement surgery and we are unable to decide which materials to go with and their pros and cons.Itll be very helpful if someone could enlighten us for the same .

Uncemented, metal on poly, ceramic on poly are fine. Cemented is fine if he is not suitable for uncemented. Your surgeon will decide on that. Don’t go for metal on metal. Ceramic on ceramic is good provided it is done precisely. Follow advice from your doctor.
