Let me know first how long it has been suffering with this pain and other problems occuring with it..... Is there only shoulder pain or its reaching to your one hand or having any vibration in any hand? If it is then you should avoid using pillow. Start using flat bed and you can use soft tovel under your head. Use hot pack at the effected area for 20 minutes twice a day. Pls use cervical collar too to avoid any strain on the effected area. It may help you to not to increase your pain and problem. You can use diclofenac gel for relief. Gentle massage can help you a bit but to cure it completely, you have to consult a physiotherapist.
Next Steps
have an x-ray or MRI cervical region for further investigation to be sure about your problem.
