Catheter is not going inside...how to insert it...the age of patient is 98 yrd

You need to put lot of lignocaine jelly before catheter insertion. Attempt gentle catheterisation. Don't try to push the catheter too hard. If it's not going and patients bladder is distended better to put suprapubic catheterization.
