Need advice
Hi i was diagnosed with ptsd and depression (i was having meltdowns and having episodic blackouts of rage) and i was prescribed 20 mg prodep and blong a year ago i took it for almost 6 months and then i suddenly stopped (i know suddenly stopping is bad, i think i was rejecting therapy) i have been feeling unwell again and can't afford to get a new prescription from my old doctor so i started taking 10 mg prodep at 9am morning and 10mg prodep at 9pm evening is that okay i know I'll have some symptoms such as nausea etc. but other than that is this an issue, i know self diagnosing is a bad idea but i think i might have bpd beautiful of how emotionally dysregulated i am and how i mainly identify with the disorder, i don't want my intense emotions to take over me so i have started medication again, i haven't found a good therapist that's affordable if i do that would also be great

Your current approach of taking 10 mg of Prodep in the morning and 10 mg in the evening may not be equivalent to the original dosage you were prescribed, and it's best to consult with a healthcare professional to determine the appropriate dosage based on your specific needs. They can also monitor your progress and provide guidance throughout the treatment process. Regarding your concern about Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), it's important to remember that only a qualified mental health professional can diagnose you accurately. While it's natural to identify with certain symptoms, it's crucial to consult with a professional who can evaluate your situation comprehensively and provide appropriate guidance and support. Finding an affordable therapist can be challenging, but there may be resources available to help you. You could consider exploring community/government mental health clinics, or online counseling platforms that offer sliding-scale fees or free services. Additionally, some therapists offer reduced rates for individuals with financial limitations, and you can inquire about such options during your search. A psychiatrist can provide guidance on medication, therapy options, and help you develop effective coping strategies for emotional regulation.
