Neck Pain on the back side of neck
Hello Doctor, My wife, who is a teacher by profession, is complaining neck pain since last 7-8 days. Initially we thought it might be a neck sprain caused due to neck movement during sleep. Her work involves 6-7 hours of standing duty & 3-4 hours of answer sheet checking of students The pain is actually above neck... On the back side of the neck, the area where hair ends and neck starts. Can you please guide us. Best Regards

Greetings, sorry about the pain. You have a posture plus occupation related pain.  Not a serious problem,  so relax.
Next Steps
get to see a physiotherapist specialised in posture correction plus trigger point therapy plus myofascial release,  your problem will be solved.  once pain reduced to let us say 50% you will be advised to do exercise for 3 months which you need to follow to see full results.
