Neck pain help
I consulted my dr and he prescribed me these medicines for 6 months for severe cervical radiculopathy pain due to an electrical shock 1. Pantoprazole sodium and levosulpride 40 mg daily before food 2. Tofacitinib citrate 5 mg alternate days 3. Iguratimod 25mg alternate days 4. Nurokind plus rf daily after food morning 5. Gabapentin 100mg at night 6. Etizyn pr tablet daily at night Now I'm scared to take pantoprazole sodium and levosulpride as I read it can cause neuropathy because it inhibit b12 absorption is it safe Also can I take ayurvedic medicine dashamoola kashayam and yograj guggul tablet and ashwagandha 1 teaspoon powder keeping a gap of 2 hours between the allopathic medicine. Does these interact . Will ayurvedic medicine inhibit the absorption of nurokind plus rf or stops the liver enzymes to break down the allopathic medicine for body to absorb them

Namastey You are being treated for Cervical radiculopathy with a combination of gastric protection, nerve support, and immunomodulatory medicines. Your concern about Pantoprazole affecting vitamin B12 absorption is valid in principle, but this effect is typically seen with long-term, continuous use over many months to years, not commonly with supervised therapeutic use as prescribed. The addition of Levosulpiride is for gut motility and symptom control, and it is not known to directly cause neuropathy. Importantly, your regimen already includes Nurokind Plus RF, which supports nerve health and helps address such concerns. Regarding the Ayurvedic medicines—Dashamoola Kashayam, Yograj Guggulu, and Ashwagandha—they are traditionally used for pain, inflammation, and nerve balance. However, your prescription also includes potent agents like Tofacitinib and Iguratimod, which act on immune and inflammatory pathways and are metabolized through liver enzyme systems. Ayurvedic formulations, especially those containing guggulu and adaptogenic herbs, can influence liver enzymes and drug metabolism, meaning they may either enhance or reduce the effect of these medicines. Maintaining a 2-hour gap may help with absorption timing, but it does not fully prevent metabolic interactions at the liver level.
Next Steps
There is no need to panic or avoid your prescribed medicines based on theoretical risks. Continue your treatment as advised while staying observant of your body’s response, particularly any new or unusual symptoms. If you wish to include Ayurvedic support, it should be done in a coordinated and supervised manner, not by self-combining multiple therapies, especially given the complexity of your current regimen. A carefully balanced plan can help you benefit from both systems without compromising safety. Health Tips
Support your recovery through non-pharmacological measures such as maintaining proper neck posture, avoiding prolonged screen time, and using a supportive pillow during sleep. Gentle stretching and relaxation techniques can reduce nerve compression and muscular stiffness. Stay consistent with daily routines, hydration, and stress control, as these significantly influence nerve healing. When dealing with combined therapies, always prioritize balance and professional oversight rather than adding multiple treatments simultaneously. Thank you

You are confused and are heavily relying on Google knowledge.  Your doctor has provided you medications for an acute stage. Once this acute phase is handled you will have the physical ability to take further action. But if you keep worrying about the side effects of pantaprozole which is a need of the hour, you will end up damaging yourself.  I can tell you that go and get admitted in a good ayurvedic hospital and get panchakarma procedures done. But they are going to be difficult to execute . So at the moment follow your doctor's  advise. The ayurvedic meds you have mentioned are not right for your condition as they are hot in nature and you have an injury due to electric shock. For deciding the right formulations for you, you need to do HAIP DIET Body Type Analysis which is a free online test. After doing this test you can seek my consultation.  P.S. Please don't stop any of your allopathic meds without first speaking with your doctor.

Please avoid self-medication. Always consult a qualified Ayurvedic physician before taking any medicine. Ayurvedic medicines generally do not interfere with allopathic treatments. Maintaining a gap of at least 2 hours between medications is usually sufficient. When used appropriately, Ayurvedic medicines offer additional health benefits and are typically safe, with minimal risk of side effects or interference with other treatments.

Your prescription includes strong medicines (immunomodulators, nerve medicines and PPI), so avoid adding Ayurvedic medicines like Dashamoola, Yograj Guggul or Ashwagandha on your own. Even with a time gap, interactions can occur at liver metabolism level. Pantoprazole may reduce B12 absorption only with long-term use, but you are already on B12 supplementation (Nurokind), so risk is usually managed. Do not stop or modify prescribed medicines without consulting your doctor. Please consult me so I can review your case and guide a safe integrative plan.
