I have stiffness and pain in back side of neck and upper back. Sometimes I have headache in the back of the head, on both side of head, and sometimes near the temple. There is also a pulling sensation next to ears and behind ears. Also experience balance problems while doing neck movement.
The pain is there from 8months and I have consulted two orthopedist and one ENT. Both times xray was taken and the results were normal.
If this problem is not related to joints or spine, then what could be causing it? Whom should I consult next?

I would advise you to meet a neurologist to assess your condition physically and undergo investigations such as BP, S. electrolytes, CT/MRI(if indicated). It is possible that the headache and vertigo that you've developed could be due to improper posture. Try to correct your posture while standing, sitting, walking and lying down and you could use a neck brace which may give you some relief. Kindly do get evaluated so that the underlying cause can be found and treated accordingly.
