Nasal congestion no taste no smell
I had my FESS operation for nasal polyps last year August but i have lost my smell and taste please help

Smell requires patency of the nasal passage. Unless the air reached the top most part of the nose where the smell receptors are located smell is not appreciated. Taste sensation depends on the smell.. So a CT scan or endoscopy to check for patency may be required. Also long standing blockage as in polyps or sinusitis may cause irreversible damage to the receptors in which case not much might be possible to do. Please visit a nearby ent specialist for examination and diagnosis
