Name of the eye disease?
My son got his eyes tested. He is 5 years old. Right eye power (distant) +0.5 sph, -0.5 Cyl, axis 80, vision 6/9,
Left eye power (distant) +0.5 sph, -0.75 cyl, axis 180, vision 6/9. I want to know what is the disease because of of which he got eye power? Does the power increases with time?

Sounds like the child has mixed astigmatism.
The most common cause of astigmatism in children is allergic eye disease, due to which child rubs his eyes and gets the number.
There is a tendency to increase, if child keeps rubbing eyes.

He is having Astigmatism. It is not due to disease.Mostly genetic.The power will increase with age.pl consult paediatric ophthalmologist for further evaluation and treatment.
