My wife is 5 week pregnant. mild cramps
My wife is 5 week pregnant. mild cramps comes before last two days. now, no cramps coming. Doctor advised to take erthromycin 500 mg twice in a day. Is it safe to take erthyromycin 500 mg in 5 th week of pregnancy(first trimester)?

Yes. Erythromycin is safe in pregnancy , but why two tablets of 500 mg in a day . One tablet per day is sufficient.
