My wife has thyroid cancer...after rai
Rai treatment after 2 years Thyroglobulin level low but iodine scan shows superclavicular node...my doctor says 2 months after TG test...this is false negatives or reccurence

Hi. Thyroid cancer-majority of the outcomes are good. Was you initial surgery just thyroidectomy or thyroidectomy +neck dissection. Thyroglobulin levels may be low when anti-thyroglobulin antibody levels are high. Those levels are also to be assessed in line with thyroglobulin.  The radioiodine scan picture will give an idea if its a significant node. If its significant, better to do ultrasound +/- fnac than wait for 2 months. But probably your doctor felt its insignificant knowing your full medical history.
