Hi Doctor I had total thyroidectomy due to Thyroid cancer Parathyroids were preserved, my Calcium level was normal before RAI THERAPY After RAI my Calcium level is in 7 , But Albumin is normal. Can Rai affect calcium levels ?.

Some times yes if there was residual thyroid gland close to parathyroid s. most of time it's transient
