TSH high level after total thyroidectomy
After total thyroidectomy today TSH level of my mother checked.It is 150 micro IU per ml.And she was diagnosed with papillary carcinoma.Doc advised RAI Ablation therapy within very short period.calcium drug supplements are regularly taken as per doc prescription. Kindly let us know if any medicine needs considering the present TSH level of my mother. Amit Kumar Dutta Son of Sankari Dutta

150 is too high. RAI abletion over? Then if over needs to start on eltroxin 200 or 300 micro Gram per day
