My tsh report says that for biological value of 0.4 to 5.0 my observed value is 5.4 . Should I start taking medicines? And is it hypo or hyper

Hello..Just based on the TSH report we cannot ascertain if it is a confirm thyroid disorder hypo/hyper.Can u let me know your symptoms,result of the complete thyroid profile and a free T4 report to confirm the same..please get these tests done after atleast an 8 hour overnight fast.. Family history of a thyroid disorder is also important.
